It’s only been a week
That I’ve had the heart monitor:
Like a three-legged spider seek-
ing off-beat rhythm: arrhythmia.

“Holter monitor” it’s called.
Sounds like law enforcement —
Halt, Holter! —
Just so people can hear my heart,
